GHOST IN THE SHELL - VEHICLES (2017)

The main challenge whilst designing vehicles for Ghost in the Shell was to find the perfect balance between paying proper homage to original material, compromise with director Rupert Sander's vision as well as making sure that the vehicle can be built within the budget set for the actual film props. With help of production designer Jan Roelfs, we explored base vehicles as well as cost-effective mod designs. Here are some of the results, including Batou's car, bikes and other important vehicles in the movie.
Some of the vehicles in the film required little extra attention to detail as they were present in more number of shots. Below are some examples of iteration process.
